Microsoft now rolling out iCloud Photos integration with Windows 11 for users

Microsoft said last month that it is collaborating with Apple to make the Apple TV and Apple Music apps available on Windows-based computers. More than that, the business hinted of iCloud Photos being integrated into the native Photos app on Windows 11. Now that it has been implemented, Windows users can use this integration.

The Verge reports that the upgrade for Windows 11's Photos app with iCloud Photos integration is now accessible. Users must install iCloud for Windows, which is also available on the Microsoft Store, after updating the app through the Microsoft Store in order to get everything up and running.

After that, simply allow the photo library sync in the iCloud app by logging in with your Apple ID. As a consequence, the Windows Photos app should instantly display all of your iCloud-stored pictures and videos.

This represents a significant advancement in the user experience for consumers who use both Apple devices and Windows PCs. Even while iCloud Photos was already available on Windows prior to the update, conventional folders were required to access the images and videos.

Soon there will be more Apple service integration

Additionally, Microsoft and Apple have previously declared that new Apple Music and Apple TV apps will soon be available to Windows users. To watch Apple TV+ content, Windows users currently need to use a web browser to access tv.apple.com, whereas Apple Music can be accessed using either the music.apple.com website or the long-defunct iTunes.

As Apple prioritizes subscription revenue over hardware sales, these announcements represent a continuation of the company's expansion of its content offerings to other platforms.

In the case of Apple TV, broader platform accessibility is essential as the company signs extensive sports arrangements, including the agreement to watch Major League Soccer exclusively starting in the 2023 season. Additionally anticipated are NFL Sunday Ticket streaming rights for Apple TV.

Use any app, but avoid WhatsApp, advises Pavel Durov, the creator of Telegram.

Pavel Durov, the inventor of Telegram, claimed that WhatsApp has been used as a surveillance tool for the past 13 years and urged users not to use it. Pavel Durov, the creator of the instant messaging service Telegram, stated Wednesday in his Telegram channel that WhatsApp has been used as a surveillance tool for 13 years and that users should avoid the messaging program. He claimed that WhatsApp has problems that endanger the data of its users every year. The same problem was brought up in my previous blog post,  How Private Are iPhones, Really, As Apple Claims? Of course, if I update WhatsApp to the most recent version, I'll be safe, am I not? Actually, no. The same exact WhatsApp security flaw was found in 2018, then again in 2019, then again in 2020 (tap each year's link to view the associated vulnerability). And certainly, before that in 2017. WhatsApp has no encryption at all prior to 2016. Every year, we become aware of a new WhatsApp bug that exposes the entire...
