The Tesla Bot is Finally Here. Can AI take over the world?

The Tesla robot has finally received a prototype.

Since August 2021, Tesla has made a commitment to publicize a "humanoid" robot—a bipedal machine that can move, act, and behave like a person. The long-awaited device was eventually unveiled by the business on Friday during its annual AI Day at its Palo Alto headquarters. Tesla's advertisements claim that Optimus (the transformer-like robot) will one day assist regular Americans with home tasks and be a cheap product that most people can afford.

Is it still there? No. Absolutely not. However, it's also not quite the complete joke that some of us might have anticipated.

Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO, stated on Friday that Optimus was capable of much more than what was shown off during the company's presentation, which, admittedly, wasn't much. “The robot can actually do a lot more than we just showed you,” Musk joked. “We just didn’t want it to fall on its face.”

At last year's AI Day, when Tesla originally revealed its plans for Optimus, Musk made an unfortunate person walk around onstage in an unsightly spandex suit to show what the robot might eventually look like. As many laughed at him, he proclaimed, "The Tesla bot will be real." Since then, Musk has made a number of outrageous claims about the design and operation of this device, including: It will have a height of 5 feet 8 inches. It will completely change how society views work! Your grass will be cut for you by it!

While we are unable to comment on the majority of that, we can state that the information given on Friday was, at the very least, not a person dressed in a suit.

In fact, the corporation displayed two versions of its creation. The first was a robot known as Bumble C, which really walked (or, more precisely, staggered) around the stage while periodically waving at the spectators. According to Musk, this robot is just a "rough development robot" that will eventually develop into the final version of Optimus. During the occasion, a video that was screened purportedly showed this prototype moving a box and attempting to water a home plant.

There is a significant functional and price difference between Tesla Bot and Boston Dynamics Spot. However, The Spot is significantly superior to Tesla Bot, and we can only hope that in a few years, Tesla Bot will catch up to The Spot in terms of quality. As Elon Musk stated, AI poses a greater threat to humans than we realize.I hope the Tesla robot never turns us all into slaves

Use any app, but avoid WhatsApp, advises Pavel Durov, the creator of Telegram.

Pavel Durov, the inventor of Telegram, claimed that WhatsApp has been used as a surveillance tool for the past 13 years and urged users not to use it. Pavel Durov, the creator of the instant messaging service Telegram, stated Wednesday in his Telegram channel that WhatsApp has been used as a surveillance tool for 13 years and that users should avoid the messaging program. He claimed that WhatsApp has problems that endanger the data of its users every year. The same problem was brought up in my previous blog post,  How Private Are iPhones, Really, As Apple Claims? Of course, if I update WhatsApp to the most recent version, I'll be safe, am I not? Actually, no. The same exact WhatsApp security flaw was found in 2018, then again in 2019, then again in 2020 (tap each year's link to view the associated vulnerability). And certainly, before that in 2017. WhatsApp has no encryption at all prior to 2016. Every year, we become aware of a new WhatsApp bug that exposes the entire...

Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Frame Rate And Resolution Detailed

While there have already been many reviews of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, one aspect that hasn't been thoroughly examined is the new game's frame rate and resolution on the Switch. Thankfully, a brand-new video from the ElAnalistaDeBits YouTube channel has chosen to examine the game in more detail. What are the outcomes then? The game operates in docked mode at 30 frames per second with 900p resolution. In terms of handheld performance, Sparks of Hope maintains a very constant 30 frames per second and a 612p resolution.
