Here's why the iPhone 14 Plus is reportedly having serious problems.

The iPhone 14 Plus hasn't even been available for two weeks, and already there are further indications that the market is not at all favorable to the replacement for the iPhone small.

According to two insiders who are supposedly involved in the company's supply chain, according to a report in The Information(opens in new tab), Apple has already reduced production of the iPhone 14 Plus.

According to the report, The Information notes that two Apple suppliers have reduced their production by 70% and 90%, respectively, and that "Apple has told at least one manufacturer in China to immediately cease production of iPhone 14 Plus components while its procurement team reevaluates demand for the product."

Given that both devices have 6.7-inch displays, the $899 iPhone 14 Plus was intended to be a more affordable alternative to the $1,099 iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, it's probable that consumers, at least among early adopters, are upgrading to the $999 iPhone 14 Pro instead.

There are many benefits to choosing the Pro series this year, as you'll discover in our comparison of the iPhone 14 Plus and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This consists of a brand-new always-on display, the Dynamic Island, a useful notch replacement, and a brand-new 48MP camera that takes incredible detail shots. This is in addition to the Pro-level exclusive features that already reduced the appeal of purchasing the iPhone 14 Plus. A telephoto lens and a 120Hz ProMotion display are not included.

The iPhone lineup has to be reconsidered

IKEA Asks Horror Game To Change So People Stop Comparing It To IKEA

A lone indie developer's unannounced survival horror game set in an Ikea-like furniture store has received a cease and desist notice from the furniture giant, in an unexpected action, according to a Kotaku review. Because several media outlets have made analogies between the game and their official brand, Ikea, Ikea's attorneys assert that the game violates trademark laws. Developer Jacob Shaw has only ten days to "alter the game and eliminate all indicia linked with the famed Ikea stores," according to the Swedish company. Unreleased co-op survival game The Store Is Closed is currently in the final week of a successful Kickstarter campaign that has raised little over $49,000. The game was developed by a lone individual under the company name Ziggy, and it is described as "being set in an infinite furniture store." The description continues, "You'll need to make weapons and construct defenses to survive the night." To find a way out, "exp...
